Sound card question -- 6.1 solution required

I was thinking of getting between getting the audigy and the hercules 6.1 sound card solution. I am going to hook up a home entertainment surround
sound solution to my pc... and I was leaning towards the hercules 6.1 because it has RCA jacks built in.

What do you guys think of this combo? Should I go with audigy instead? If so, how would I hook up my home surround sound speakers?

If you need 6.1, then go with the Hercules card. IIRC, the Audigy only supports up to 5.1.

can I hook my home speaker system into the audigy? Does it have ports for that?

I don't think you get digital 6.1 for dolby digital EX or DTS ES...its just some form of analog sound that mixes an extra channel.
