i'm in the audio settings for bf2, i try to make it use the x-fi as the audio processor, but it always says hardware error or something when i click it, then i'm forced to use the 'software' mode and not the x-fi

am i doing something wrong? or bad drivers?

it works fine on other apps..the sound is decent when i play the game too, but will it be better if i get x-fi to work on the game??

I assume you have the latest drivers for the X-fi and for BF2? I believe that is an old issue which has since been fixed
