1) I am trying to use a sblive with my system...

1.33ghz, abit kt7a-raid with 2 30gig drives raid0
512mb pc133 cas2 crucial
tnt2ultra 32mb agp
wd firewire card
linksys nic
if i put it in pci slot 4 5 or 6 my system will not make it past the win2k loading screen. I have things in all of the other pci slots

what might cause this?

2) I tried using a santa cruz with my system and the sound stutters if i do anything at all on the computer, they say that this is caused by irq sharing but acpi makes the irq's share!

Should i try an acoustic edge?

Did you try moving some of the other cards around? Try putting it where the firewire or NIC cards are and moving those to 4,5 or 6 to see if it will boot completely.
