sound card making chattering noise w/ECSK7S5A

I have a Creative SB Live X Gamer,with ECS K7S5A.When Playing video files with sound or games(some)I get this chattering echo sound,Like when in Ghost Recon When I shoot and the shell hits the ground It sounds like a wind chime.It does this when playing some video files to,seems to do it with the video files when I have another app running.The game just does it all the time.
Any Ideas?This card worked fine in my other system.

What video card do you use?
Me and someone else have this problem with voodoo3 2000 pci card!
I want to switch this card to a hercules prophet 4500 agp to see if this helps.

I have(had) a Voodoo 3 3000 PCI card,I just bought a Gainward Geforce 2MX 400 64mb with tv out AGP and stuck it in there and the chattering noise is gone.
So it is the video card being a PCI that was doing it.

uuummmm...doesn't the ECS K7S5A come with onboard sound???? if so, did you disable it in the bios since your using Creative SB Live X Gamer. If you did not disable the onboard sound then I'm sure thats your problem.

uMMMMMMMMMMM! Yes I did,if you do a little reading youll see that when you use a PCI Video card mainly the VooDoo with a PCI sound card it can cause some of the symtoms above.It is really terrible in Ghost recon,to the point of tuning the sound off.

Besides that i couldnt read the text in GR either with the Voodoo,and the font fix didnt work either,so I just bought a new Video card.......Fixed it all!
