Sound Card Help

I am trying to decide on the new soundcard for my soon to be complete (for Now) System.

i am trying to decide between the Hercules CNR
or the Audigy Gamer .

Will the hercules card work in My MotherBoard , or do I have to go with a PCI Card?

I am going to be using an XP 1700+ with 640MB PC-133 on Windows XP Pro.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
