It is a Diamond MX400 sound card, and i am trying to install the drivers that came with it. I pulled it out last night to see if the computer was any more stable (it wasn't) and i put it back in this morning with some new drivers (from here <-- the top ones). I restarted my computer and my sound didn't work, I tried uninstalling those drivers i just put on, i think they uninstalled... So then i got out the cd that came with the card and whenever i start up it comes up with new hardware found: PCI multimedia sound card (or something like that) and i go through the steps and point to where I KNOW the drivers are (cause it is the 'drivers' folder.) and it says it cannot find the drivers, WTF!? :| any ideas on how i can get this to work?
