I just recently formatted my computer...and I lost the original creative disk...I browsed the internet for the driver and seems that I can never find one...can anyone help me with this ???...Can't I install any other driver beside the driver originally from creative ??..and if so can someone help me point out where i can find it ??

ok I got the original driver that is supposed to install my sound card...but new problem occured...after i installed its still doesnt work...i check the status of the hardware...it says "windows can't load start the driver device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (code 19)

help guys ???...I uninstalled the driver....pull the device off the mother board and reinstall again but its still doesnt work...i tried it several times too...any idea ?

you may try installing Driver Cleaner 3. Go to Add Remove Programs and make sure that your drivers aren't listed there anymore, if so, uninstall. Then restart and go into Safe Mode and run driver cleaner. There should be an option for Creative Software in the pull down menu. Just click Clean. Then restart your computer normally and try reinstalling the drivers from creative's website

now it says "windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing (code 39)"...oh gosh i swear this is some stupid problem that i just dont get...

seems like my sound card can not get started up for some reason...
