Sound Card comparison

Sorry that this question is about some older hardware, but was wondering if I could get a few peoples opinions.

I've got an NF2 Ultra MB with the onboard Nvidia SoundStorm audio, but I've also got a SB Live! 5.1 card lying around not in use. I was wondering how the 2 solutions compare to each other.

You're probably better off with the SB Live. Personally, I will try it. Of course, if you're only using regular computer speakers you might not able to tell the difference.
