Sound Card and Windows 64???

I'm wondering what alternatives there are to the Sound Blaster Sound Cards???
Whatever Sound Card I get will be complementing a set of Klipsch PROMEDIA ULTRA 5.1 speakers.

Also I'm putting together a new rig and I don?t know if I should get Windows 64 or just Windows XP Home???



Edit: Do you guys have any personal favorite cases for around $80???
