Sound Card and Klipsch 2.1 ?????????

I am currently using ac97 built on my ECS mobo. Will I notice an improvement in music sound quality if I switch to a another sound card liek and audigy?

Does anyone know?

I remember switching from an old soundblaster clone (AudioPCI) to a soundblaster Live! value when they first came out...even on an old pair of speakers the difference was amazing. The sound was crisp and clear, no electric buzz, not muffled, and just better quality all around. I don't know if the difference would be so great in your case, but I would recommend it if you can afford it.
