What kind of connection? Does the stereo have optical inputs?

If not, just go to Radio Shack and buy a small adapter from the audio output on the computer to RCA outputs

if you get the right mobo, some have optical ports on them.

I know the IC7-MAX3 has 2 ( cuz i own it I know)

Yeah, do what AgaBooga said. Go to the Shack and get the phono plug to RCA adapter (and possible and phono extension cord, if necessary). Works like a charm.

I have done the same thing, so if you need anymore help, PM me. I use a 3.5" stereo headphone style connector to 2 rca jacks to hook up.... im not an audiophile, but an audio card with an optical output would be best... and for conntroling the comp i use a program called snowcrash.. http://www.mp3pirate.com/snowcrash/ it allow you to just have the comp by ur stereo ... no need for a monitor and keyboard and such... very cool. its a winamp plugin... web interface.. check it out. hope some of this helps

Wal-mart has the adapter described above, only cheaper and with a 6' cord. Try that one.
