Sound Blaster Recon3D Release?

Does anyone know when the new Sound Blaster Recon3D PCIe cards will be released. In the September announcement, they said October, but I have not heard anything since then.

So...what do these do differently than the X-FI and yeah, no HDMI processing is ridiculous at this stage. It would really make it easier to hook up to a receiver for a HTPC or when I just wanna show off a new game...could run HDMI to my receiver and get the audio while I play on the big screen.

Why not just use the HDMI on the video card? There is no need for HDMI on a soundcard. If you're using the HDMI on a soundcard, that makes having the soundcard pointless.

My local computer store just got this thing in stock yesterday. Haven't seen any reviews of it (haven't tried looking too hard).

Just got me an X-fi HD USB external box 2 weeks ago. LOVE IT. Sounds better than my X-fi Xtrememusic from forever ago. No input lag.
