Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 problems..

When I try to load my Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 drivers, it tells me that setup cannot detect a Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 card in my system. I have just reformatted and before the card worked fine. What am I doing wrong?

when i had this problem with my video card i just went to the website and downloaded the driver from there and it worked for me. Dont know if the same could apply to sound.

Bump.

Another problem that I'm having is with my modem. It's a Best Data 56HP92-SL PCI modem. When I install it, everything seems to install correctly but it never shows a modem listed in the modems section of the device manager/control panel. Because of this, I can't get online and download newer drivers for the Sound Blaster Live! 5.1. The thing is, both the modem and the sound card worked perfectly before I reformatted. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
