Sound Blaster Audigy question......

I have a Sound Blaster Audigy and I want to hook it up to my home stereo reciever. My reciever has a digital coaxille input on it which I want to hook up to the digital output on my sound card. Does anyone make such a cable that will go from the digital output on my scound card (1/8" mini jack) to a single digital coax on my reciever? Also, if there is a such a cable.........I assume I would get better sound since it would be digital as opposed to analog, correct?

You need a 1/8" miniplug mono to RCA mono connector. You can buy a full cable for LT $5 at Radioshack. Get the stereo converter for running to an external decoder or amplifier. You'll get better DVD and music performance, but gaming will suffer from a lack of pointal sound if you just run digital. I have both connected.

Why would you want a mono cable? Wouldn't you want a 1/8" to rca that is stereo? Also, can you show me what this cable looks like.............possibly a link to radioshack's website? thanks
