Just bought myself the above product, and am trying to set it up with my Logitech 560 speakers. I'm assuming I have to use the digital out connection since my speakers don't have a front and rear channel plug like the connections for the back of the soundcard. But when I plug my speakers into the digtal out connector all that I get is static, and if I turn it up a bit I can hear the sound, but barely. Is there something wrong with the soundcard? Or am I totally off in my setup? I can plug it into the analog slot, but then my surround sound isn't working. Let me know if I'm doing anything wrong. Thanks.

You need to enable the digital out as the card works in either analogue or digital mode. Click the "advanced" box under the master volume to get the tick box.

Dont know how the connectors look on your speakers.

The digital out box is checked. Thats when it will start putting out the static. I have to connections for my speakers. One for the subwoofer, and one for the 4 speakers. But I have 4 connections on my soundcard. Digital out, rear out and front out. So unless I use digital, I'm losing the use of the 4 speakers unless I set it up for 2 speaker setup.

The four speakers connect with one connector? Never seen that before.

If the static after you enable the digi out is very loud, reboot.

The digital out on the Audigy works as center/sub when you run the card in analogue mode.

Update drivers is allways good. What OS are you using?

Does the speakers have a digital in?

You're better off just using the analog outs for the 560. The digital outs on the Creative's are generally intended for use with Creative speakers using the proprietary DIN. You won't the difference anyway.
