You probably don't need that sound card for a lower end system. I would just run a sound blaster 16, etc. if you are just using it for a basic 2 speaker setup. What says it is not for your operating system?

I installed the card then ran the software on the CD and it tried to install but said it was not for the operating system I had (and I have Windows 98 SE) installed it said it required ME XP? I tried installing the drivers another way and got blue screen of death on reboot, So some how or another the Audigy2 and software I got only wants a system with ME XP? I can not imagine I am the only one that has ran across this? Thanks

Just did some leg work for you
Creative web site says the Audigy 2 is not for WIN98SE,
its for WinME, Win2K and WinXP.
You can do the rest...........
