all right, i've dealth with this long enough and now i want it fixed.
I has a creative SB Audigy 2 ZS
I have a 5.1 surround sound speaker system
i can never get a good balance for volume. Its always too loud or too low. the volume on my speakers is set low and my pc volume is set high and that seems to be a good balance there but it doesn't make sense.
its this way for almost everything (music and games)
but if i watch a movies, its too quiet. I have to turn my speaker volume up almost all the way to get decent sound. wtf?
another thing i noticed was that the wave source volume keeps defaulting to 48%.
