I am having a couple of prolems with my monitor and sound in win2K
1)Monitor Problem
when my system goes into suspend mode (Turns off the monitor) my monitor goes crazy. It starts to act like it does when you change monitor settings. The screen is blank, but it keeps trying to change over and over again. I have to turn my monitor off. Any sujustions. This Doenst Happen in Win 9X. I am using the latest drivers for both the monitor and graphics card.
System:
Mitsubishi 900u
ATI RageFury
Athlon 650
Gigabyte 7IX
256 SDRAM
PCI SoundBlaster 512
Philips USB Speaker(in Anlalog Mode)
2)My sound is also messed up in win2K. The volume is way too loud. I turn the system volume up one notch and it is extremely loud. In Win9X on the same system I have to turn the system volume up about 1/2 way to get the same loudness. This is my peference. That way I can have more resolution at the low Volume levels. With my setup I have to use the windows volume control for my speakers, because the Philips Speakers only control volume through the USB port which I am not using. Any reasons why Win2k Would do this?? Please Help
