Sound AND Graphics problems, both in 1 day

I just got off counter strike source after my sound and graphics were working well and they havent screwed up in the pass.. right when i get off my sound cuts out and when i try to listen to music i can barely hear anything nor talk in ventrilo.. i try to start up CSS and when i do i get a black screen so i alt tab out and give up saying my computer is done. Does this maybe have to do with drivers??







 
Do you still have the problem after a reboot? It's possible that Counterstrike simply did not close completely when you exited the game the first time so it didn't release control of the sound card and video card back to the operating system.
