Sound all wierd

Hey guys, I decided to move my computer to another room today and after booting it up the sound got all wierd. When i use windows media player the sound gets low pitched and sounds like its underwater. But then when i turn the visual off it sounds a bit better. That's running in 6 channel sound mode. The wierd part is it runs better as the channel goes down. 2 channels runs the best and 6 runs the worst. WTH!? Anyone have any ideas??? Thanks.
 
Well that is kind of weird from just moving your computer to another room. Your best bet in my opinion is to check to make sure nothing is loose inside your computer maybe reseat your sound card (if you have) and also your graphic card and check cables etc. And if that doesnt work you could always try reinstalling your sound drivers. But still thats kind of weird from just moving your case.
 
i actually already reinstalled my sound drivers (several times) i will try reseating the sound card in a bit. Anyone have any other ideas?
