Sounblaster 2zs

My brand new build has been gnawing away at installing the software/apps disk for the 2zs, it's been about ohhh 40mins
and it's still only 20% done, is this normal? Or should I be getting ready to freak?
specs:

3500+ winchester
asus a8v deluxe
1 gig ram
6800 gt
200 gig 7200 sata
dvd/cd rw
blah
blah
blah

well just stop it, restart and try again maybe ur comp wigged out

I once installed everything (usually, I only install the driver) and it did not take long. may be, 10 minutes.
