Sorta weird comparison... for a cheap HTPC

So I just picked up a 3700 and mobo and now i need a pci-e card with hdmi out for my tv...

So I found somebody selling the MSI 7300gs with HDMI out, that's pci-e

I also found somebody selling a PCI-X 8400gs that's a HP pull

The motherboard does not have pci-x slot, but i've read they work in a normal pci slot but much limited. Btw, mobo is asus A8N5X.

So what's the better choice?

Don't bother with either of those.

Or any other hd3450. It's the best value by far for any HTPC. How much are you going to save by buying some outdated, used, no warranty card? The answer is, not enough. The 3450 is dirt cheap and feature packed.
