Sorta OT: Long-time P4 problem solved ?

Hey all,

WEll my long-time battle with my P4 and heat(reaches 80+C :Q) might be coming to an end this evening/morning. WIll update as it happens...essentially if this gets solved my 12 WU/day is going to increase due to O/C. Cheers and wish me luck!

mine was running 86c

till i took everything apart, cleaned everything, and reapplied as3.

now running at 49c no matter what i run

heck i can even play games with seti running.it only affects time,games run fine.

I've taken it apart 3...3....3...times!

But i think I know what the problem is...:sheepish grin:

I applied AS Ceramique as one would apply AS3 or AS5....bigggggg no-no.../end sheepish grin/
I had no idea the 2 must be applied completely differently...wow, i feel amazingly...yeah.
I can't wait to see what the temperatures are when the pc is running with it the *proper* way.

My pc is currently in a battle to get that amazingly hard to find Mr. Bones movie file off the 'net. (last one in quite a few queues!)
It's wrong but i've tried to buy it from the South African Distributor but I dont think the people speak
english b/c my emails where never resolved. I even tried to get forum members to buy it for me in the UK and ship it over
Alas, the movie isn't in the UK yet either :(

So, when all legal means have failed.. :p
