Well, here is the problem.. I don't even know what the problem is..

Lately, I had been experienceing some weird problem.. when I watch Divx's (either from HD or from CDs), it would start out ok, but then eventually starts to have some weird effect on my HD. It doesn't happen much on short stuff, but after maybe half an hour, I'll see my HD signal lights was continiously lighting up. And I could hear that my computer would access my HD like crazy! To the point that I'm dropping Frames!!!

Mind you, if you think my computer sux, please check my rig, I assures you that it's close to top of the line and is more than enough to watch simple Divx's.

Anyway, at first I thought it was my HD Cache.. so I expanded it to a min. of 2GB. Still, nothing happens, my hd stills access like crazy! It would like go on for like 30seconds stright of Hardcore working.. I don't understand why.

So then I went into my Bios to check if there's anything I could do there. So I thought it might be some HD interface w/ the CPU or something, so I turned off the SMART monitoring. At that point I thought I stopped the problem, but apperently.. I didn't.

Today, when I was watching Divxs from my Plextor, same thing happens again. The voice and vid starts to become out of sync. So I did the natural thing, I pause the movie and restarted again, but it didn't clear up. So I decided to go for a restart on my computer, see if I flush my system it might do some good.. didn't happen. My computer hang on me after I exited the Mplayer2 and the HD keeps working like a noisy bastard for like a minute.. then complete froze.. including my mouse.

For the next half an hour I had trouble booting into windows.. sometimes it would hang before getting through the bios.. When it run the NU Scan disk.. it always hang when it was tring to scan the folder call f9fagvim... Which turns out to be a temp. internet file folder.

So to be on the save side, I lowered my cpu down to 933 (133fsb). And after quitting NU Scan disk of Dos, I sucessfully booted into windows.. I then went at once to try to deleate the f9fagvim folder.. couldn't do it. So then I ran the NU Disc Doctor, turns out I have 47 Lost Cluster in 42 Lost chain, and the folder f9fagvim was screwed up...

Rite now my computer is running ok.. sorta.. I'm getting some crazy stuff from my mouse. I have a logitech cordless Pro, and my mouse would like.. jiggle? Like.. it woudl be smooth for a while.. and then like very very.. "not smooth" the next instant. Almost like the refresh rate droped to below 10Hz or something. Anyway, as a gamer, I use PS/2 Rate, so I lower my mouse Refresh rate down to win default (40hz) for the time being... but the sitution still haven't improved.

So I'm left w/ questions.. What can cauz this? I mean.. I don't see how Divx can cauz my HD to go crazy? Could it be my Ram? Since it's Generic PC133 and I had been running it at 143 Cas3 for the last 2 months.

Or could it be my AGP? My Graphics Card? But what does that have to do with my HD.. or.. my mouse? Does it have anything to do with overclocking?
