Sorry Russ....:(

I couldn't do the mandatory 500MHz today..Only added a 450 PIII running 24/7.....🙂 Also received 5 PII-350MHz PC's along with a couple of Pentium Pros. Will try to get them running and assimilated during the next 3 weeks as I am terribly busy now🙁...Some will replace Pentium 75-133 PC's and some will be new additions🙂

Sorry Again Russ...😛

Shame, shame.🙁 Here is Russ out busting his *ss recruiting and you have to go and dissapoint him.😛

Yes, I said replacing🙁....The Old Plant PC's are going someplace else...I'm not sure where..YET...!!! Hopefully, enough people are transferring into our plant to keep them all on the network, and therefore cracking for TA!!! Only time will tell!!! Still, even if replaced, there should be at least 1.5 to 2GHz additional cracking power, not to mention the MMX factor that so many of the original PC's don't have.....🙂

Engineer: "at least 1.5 to 2GHz additional cracking power" - music to my ears 🙂

Doing my bit, added a .....wait for it.......😉😛

P133 and we can have it for at least a week!😀

It cracked 25 blocks last night!😀

I was not able to add any additional hardware today, but I was able to increase the output of my 1.0 GHZ Athlon to 3,961,260.54 keys/sec from the previous 3,856,049.36 keys/sec by changing the FSB from 110 to 112. Hey, every little bit helps. 🙂

Either pro or mmx, never both, as that would be a PII, wich doesnt come in 200MHz...
Sorry, cant help correcting ppl 😉

Engineer can you bump that pro up to 233? Oh and I might try to get 3 g4s and 3 dell systems, forget what speed the dells are... they're in my comp graphics class, I'll ask the teacher but I don't think he has any authority over them....but they sure would be nice, speaking of which how would you sneakernet a mac?

ppros, nice chips, crack great here is what my dual ppro does:

0.04:42:34.61 - [506,658.46 keys/sec]
[Jul 29 13:11:47 UTC] Loaded RC5 32*2^28 packet B4E4018E:10000000
[Jul 29 13:11:47 UTC] Summary: 101 RC5 packets (3232*2^28 work units)
9.21:58:08.01 - [1.00 Mkeys/s]

there both at 180, (and when ever we get the new heatsinks/w fans they will be at 200) they almost hit what the celly 450 gets!

that's because celerons, celeron 128's, p2's, p3's, p3 cumines', xeon's, P3 xeon's, P3 xeon's with ondie cache, and ppro's ALL use the same basic core, just little tweaks here and there, or different cache amounts, die shrinks, additions of sse or whatenot, and therefore, are the same performance/mhz as each other, regardless of cache size (for rc5).

360mhz of Ppro's is fairly close to 450mhz of cellery power because, well, 360mhz:450mhz is a 4:5 ratio. That's why. 🙂
