That's one product that I'd be nervous to operate. At least he died very quickly. Even feet first, I'd imagine that with those big tow behind chippers that it wouldn't be more than 5 or 6 seconds. Head first? Near instantly. Very terrifying, I'm sure, but over very fast too.

I don't get how these accidents happen so often though. You'd think even without any safety training people would have enough common sense to respect these machines, knowing what they are capable of. Don't create a situation where you can get pulled in.

interesting they go into a homicide/suicide investigation and look into financial history/debt. Also says they found he had separated from his wife 2 months ago but they were reconciling. I guess you just never know so everything is looked at.
