i contacted a troll at trollhunters.com, he was incredibly useless, last e-mail i got from him "i don't think your goning to get your hardware". what a big help!

Good Example!


It's useless arguments you bringing up, not a single massive troll have been busted.

Anand not involved at all. Owner of FW used financial resources to fight law suits etc... Anand simply accepts any terms that merchants scares him with. Anand let Staples and other to boss him.


Instead of arguments, applaud FW for fighting in courts and helping to put serious & proffesional internet troll away.

FW is great for finding out more about hot deals in progress, but thats it. No real community...

FW busts one guy, which is great b/c he was an asshat, and they get boastful...

First off, maybe we have a misunderstanding of your use of the word "troll". It seems to me that you define troll only as that which affects the owner of the business. If you were to define it as often used, your conclusion is unfounded. AT has always been known as the forum that hunted trolls. FW if anything didn't hunt for trolls because they hardly had any to worry about.

I'm afraid you're using troll in a different sense. In other words, your definition refers to the owners of the sites fighting tooth to nail for their rights as businesses and for their consumers. There is one thing I can always say about FW: Tim Storm never ceases to portray himself as some superman, but he does it with premeditated plot selecting only stories that favour his interest. Only when it directly affects or would affect his pocket does he make immediate remedy; otherwise one can cry till tomorrow and nothing is done even if there's clear evidence. I can't fault him. In my opinion, human nature is self centered. More power to him for being able to persuade people this way. I too think it would be nice if AT would learn to stand up to bullies. I wish they would be willing to dare and give the consumers what they want, but AT isn't a primarily hot deal site after all.
