[sorry, I posted this yesterday]

aircooled

Lifer
sad to see it go, but I just don't have time for a "hobby vehicle" at the moment.
I'd rather someone else take it over than let it rot....
First time I've sold a vehicle on ebay.

Once it's gone I will not be "aircooled" anymore 🙁

edit: sorry, I posted this yesterday and forgot.

Too bad ... I once owned a '72 Transporter with a pop-top in Australia for a year. Brilliant machine, although I had no idea mechanically how to fix it when we had problems. Fortunately they were few and far between, and she served us well for the trip. Will buy one as a hobby vehicle if I ever see one for sale (and come into some more $$$)

🙁 sad to see it go.

thats pretty decent interior. i had no side panels on the doors or under the dash. eventually took out the wiper motor to replace it but never did- such a PITA to get under there in the first place! man, $550 is totally reasonable for this thing. but yeah definitely make sure the fuel lines are replaced, i have personally seen 2 other vw's go up in flames due to leaky fuel lines. sad sight.

yeah, today I replaced the fuel line and drove it around the block. The tires are really the main thing that need replaced.
