Sorry but this deserves its own thread

On my campus network I always get this the first couple times I open Gmail's website. I have to open it like five or six times IN SUCCESSION before it loads properly. Any ideas?

Tried this on another browser? Just to isolate the problem

It appears not to do it in FF. However Gmail works fine in IE at home. It's only on campus that it's funny.

Fixed it, just had to use the URL https://mail.google.com/mail instead.
