Sorry, but for the 10,000th time, what drivers are ya using for GTS?

I'm runnin DX8.0a and 7.52s. What are the fastest AND how do ya get CoolBits workin with Win2k?

Thanks for the great suggestion😉 John, but I did do a search for "Detonator Drivers" and didn't come up with much in the last 25 days.

I'd simply like to hear from people on which version they're using at the present time.

I suggested the 11.01's in my original post. I am running Win 2K and I have tried all of the betas, and the 11.01's perform the best (for me). Stability, image quality, speed.

If you do a SEARCH for drivers and check General Hardware forum you will pull back results. 😉

I'm using WinME so it might not help u much. I'm using the 6.50 Detonators mainly because of speed and the O'Clocking tab is available.

I just recently started to benchamark the drivers again an the results are as follows.

I ran the Q3A timedemo benchmark and used Demo127. All settings are completely maxed out including the Game Options settings. Oh yeah, r_ext_compressed_textures are set to 1. FSAA Off. Now I tested in all the main resolutions i.e.

All 32 Bit Colour and Textures

640 x 480
800 x 600
1024 x 768
1280 x 1024
1600 x 1200

The average fps scores are based on the last 3 as I don't play games in any resolutions below 1024 x 768.

6.32 = 59.67
6.34 = 59.47
6.50 = 60.07
6.67 = 60.10
6.92 = 59.47
7.56 = 60.13
11.01 = Too many graphic glitches for some reason, so not used
12.00 = 59.60

I use the 6.50's as they just seem to work better, although they are not the fastest. 6.67's and 7.56 seem to give me problems in other games other than Q3A, i.e. Giants, the shadows are all to pot.

So, the answer is..... Detonator's 6.50
