So i just built a new computer not to long ago, here are the specs

3200+ winnie
eVGA 6800 GT
74 gig raptor
and This Ram

So now that i love bf 2 so much and with new games on the horizen looking as they will need 2 gigs to run to their full extent i am looking to jump onto the 2 gig bandwagon and was wondering if getting another 2 sticks of that same ram would be worth it. Basicly how much of a preformance loss is there from losing 1T (isnt that what happens when you add over 2 sticks of ram) Right now i am only a high school student so i have limited funds and i dont really feel like selling this ram and getting 2 gig sticks so what do you guys think would it be worth the upgrade or would i be better off saving the money since it wont give me a big enough prefomance boost because it would be limited by the graphics card in newer games. Sorry i know this has been asked many times but i would really like your help.

can anyone help me with this? Is changing the ram DDR333 just like changing the 1T to 2T as in its only a small preformance loss that is outweighed by the extra ram?

The difference will be noticable (most likely), but not enough to make you want to die. The added ram would help if it's needed, so you might as well. Or invest in 2x1gb sticks.

it wont make much of real life performance difference since memory controller is integreted on the cpu itself for us A64 folks...
u will see some difference in the synthetic tests.. but as i have said.. there will be almost no performance difference in real life...
so go for whichever u want..
