WTF??? Phokus, the difference between you and I is that I can admit when I am mistaken. How funny that you use that post as some kind of victory for yourself, when it fact, it shows just how awful you really are.

First you admit you lie, then you say you didn't, now you say you're admitting again. Make up your mind you bipolar idiot.

Also, still waiting for your contrite apology for putting words in my mouth. "$80 an hour", again, get the fuck out of here you libelous bastard.

What i meant was, "or start paying $80 for an $8 dollar item as the result of what you suggest"

That's a load of horseshit and you know it. Tell me what i suggested where that would ever happen.

I never said you suggested it. I said it was a RESULT of what you suggest.

Maybe you should work on your reading comprehension a little bit?

Ending offshoring by regulation, instead of addressing unreasonably high wages in the US for unskilled manufacturing labor that is the root cause of offshoring in the first place.

I'd like to see where in the thread i made that argument. I made fun of you for believing that regulations where shipping jobs over seas rather than free trade/free market principles, and you somehow miraculously made the assumption that i want to end offshoring and not only that, but my imaginary post somehow makes $8 items cost $80. Where the fuck do you come up with this shit.

Also 'unreasonably high', what the hell is wrong with you. How little do you want someone in manufacturing to make?

Since Amused said no such thing, looks like you are a liar and owe him an apology.

You can bow down to me you stupid motherfucker.

e Koch family blows Soros out of the water.

Thread backfire...

I'm not taking either side, but you have it wrong.

Sorors has donated nearly $10 billion in his life to charity. I don't know how much the Koch family has donated, but I doubt anyone could blow 10 billion "out of the water."

Unskilled manufacturing jobs should pay the same marketable wages as any unskilled job. Unfortunately, with laws favoring the unions, that's not the case. Same for semi-skilled jobs as well. And even skilled tech jobs.

If you want the jobs back, you have to compete for them. Not bitch and whine and make the government pass laws and regulations banning offshoring.

Like I said, if it's cheaper to produce an item overseas and to ship the damn goods halfway around the world than to pay you to make it, you're asking too much.

And it's not even always about wages. What killed the big three auto makers was outrageous lifetime benefit packages and the inability to fire bad labor... all thanks to the unions. Japanese and German automakers are able to manufacture cars here and remain profitable.

I know. I corrected myself.

Phokus, it doesn't do your case any good when it sounds like you're ecstatic when you feel like you're winning Internet arguments.
