So last thursday i woke up with a sore neck, and it hasn't gotten any better a friggin weak later!! i can feel a massive knot in my neck, and still hurts to turn or anything.

anything i can do to fix it? I've been rubbing it, and putting heat on it, not sure what else i can try?!?!

ideas?

Chiropractor. I've had the same problem, and couldn't find any other way than muscle relaxers, which aren't an option due to the side effects.

Go try and see a chiropractor (did i spell that right?), or are they only for backs? They'll snap your neck right back!

i'm sure that'd help, but i'm looking to not have to spend that much money, my insurance doesn't cover chiropractors :-(

Man, i remember having one of those when i was like 13. In my case my head was turned to the side, though, and it hurt like a bitch to move it in any direction. It made me feel "special" when i had to go to the doctors like that....

IIRC he just gave me some muscle relaxers, though. Worked like a charm.

Couple years back I took a short nap one afternoon with my neck at a weird angle, it hurt for almost a month afterward.
