Sopranos Thread - 5/2/04

I thought this was a pretty good episode. I love how every lawyer in town is scared of going after Tony. I couldn't believe the scene with Vito. I was waiting for Finn to hook up with that girl at the construction site.

My money says it eats Carmella a few episodes down the road. Well, I can hope at least.

As far as Vito, I was hoping he'd go wack Meadow and her boyfriend for fear of getting outed after he got stood up. Might as well make things interesting in the final days.

Meadow's boyfriend is in deep doo-doo. He's got at least two problems:

1) He saw Vito sucking off the security guy.
2) The girl at the construction site is going to try to screw him.

i dont think Vito was trying to hit on meadows boyfriend. After he caught vito with his mouth full (no pun intended) he tried to be extra nice to him so he doesnt rat him out and he knows hes into baseball so he got him tickets.

That was what I thought as well. I thought Vito invited meadow's bf to the game to make sure things were "cool" between them. I also thought it was a mistake for him not to go, because now Vito is going to be suspicious and paranoid.

the girl was only in the episode to plant the marrage idea in his head. and it doesnt appear he is going back to the construction site

Agreed. As for what Vito was thinking, nobody knows, and that's part of the beauty of the show. Many times they don't spell out the intentions of the characters so you're left guessing. Would Vito have killed him? Was he just hitting on him? Was he just going to kind of feel him out and see if he was going to tell anyone? Was he just trying to scare him? I love the possibilities.

I was laughing my a$$ off at Carmella when she was balling while looking at Tony splashing water on himself like a seal in the pool. That was hilarious!

I think it was a great episode, but mostly because of the tension all over the place. Right now it seems like everyone could just explode. Tony's panic attacks are coming more frequently with Tony B around, Christopher is furious with being pushed down a notch, New York is about to erupt in an all-out war, Tony and Johnny Sack are just one person telling Johnny that Tony B was involved in that shooting away from ripping each other apart, Adrianna is obviously not in a good situation, Carmella is breaking down with the whole divorce situation, Uncle Junior is still technically the head of the family and is losing his mind? Does it get any better than this?

 

This was a great episode. I am glad this season is dealing with the mob a lot more than the last season. I can't wait to see little Carmine get his.

i think it symbolizes tony. comes and goes when it pleases, takes what it wants, is a nuisance(sp?) to carmella.

if i was the guy who saw vito, i think i wouldve went to the game. the guy is meadows bf, so i dont think vito was going to hit on him. i think vito wanted to feel it out, and make sure he wasnt going to tell. altho vito did say "youre fvking going", so who knows. but hey, free tickets, sit on your ass an get paid, etc. why throw that away. him busting vito was almost like a gift.

seemed faster paced and more things going down. my favorite episode this season so far.

Pretty good episode tonight, the show is finally back on track after going in all different and stupid directions for the past few weeks. The whole Vito thing came outta left field tho, pretty hilarious.

Finn seems to be a complete wuss, he bitches more than meadow

How could you forget the most crucial of his problems being that he has gotten engaged to Meadow without first approaching Tony! I can't wait to see when Carmella tells Tony!

I'd think he learned his lesson after the whole dinner scene where he paid for the meal, but apparently he didn't :beer:

I don't like Finn. I don't like his name. He'll be taking dirt nap in short order. Did you notice that the game Vito was taking him to was Bat Day? Wonder when Finn's head is used for practice? If word gets out that fat Vito likes boys, he knows he's a dead man. Finn must go!
