Sopranos on A & E

I didn't start watching the Sopranos until season 2 on HBO. Do you think the A & E edited version will be worth watching? I will probably watch season 1 just to see what I missed.

Its called "HBO OnDemand".

Before Season 6 started, they put the previous five OnDemand. I watched the entire series in order...Madone, it was fuggin' great ova heah.

I only had one complaint...MORE SILVIO!

I've got all the episodes on my mythtv box. I'm currently near the end of season 4. 🙂
 
I would never watch Sopranos on regular cable tv just like I almost always refuse to watch movies in pan & scan.
 
I bought all the seasons in a package on DVD back before I got HBO (1-5 at the time), worst mistake ever, I watched seasons 1-2 and decided that it was not worth my time to continue, poor series IMO.

I wish they would bring Carnivale back🙁
At least they are bringing Rome back🙂
 
When they start airing them, will they stop playing the 3 minute long advertising spots EVERY commerical break?

If I hear him say one more time he works in "Waste Management"...:

I've never seen this show, and I don't think I ever will...😉

Carnical = teh suck
 
Any true lover of the Sopranos should not be able to stand this butchery - not only is it censored but they're cutting little bits and pieces of classic dialogue! At least they're avoiding commercials, but still, this is ridiculous.
 
i watched for a little while... then when the commercial came on, i switched over to the DVD... it's just like a little teaser that makes me want to watch more... now i'm gonna see how far i can get in the series before the second part of season 6 starts in march
 
I started watching it tonight...after about five minutes I gave up as I have all the seasons on DVD. A&E will butcher it just like any other network that isn't a premium channel.
 
I fell asleep to the second run of them last night on A&E. I don't like how they recut it so the opening credits appear after the show has started rather than right at the beginning.

The dubbing was weird too.
