Sopranos Fans

I was thinking back to the Sopranos and discussing it with a friend today, and he brought up a good point. Remember in Season 3 or 4 when Chris and Paulie are asked to go collect something from one of the "Russians" and they go to his place and get into a confrontation regarding his universal remote. The Russian ends up getting knocked out and driven out in the middle of a forest in winter to be buried/shot. He ends up escaping from them and getitng shot in the head by Christopher. What happens to that Russian guy? Does he escape/live? Does he die? I don't think it was followed up at all in the storyline, is that just a Sopranos loose end?

Just a Sopranos loose end...I don't recall their ever concluding this storyline.

Remember when Tony visits the Russian boss of the guy that Christopher and Paulie failed to whack in the snowy woods?

Tony goes to feel out the Russian boss' loyality to his particular foot soldier...the Russian boss mentions that they served in the Soviet military together, and that the foot soldier in question saved his life at one point...and Tony is like, oh crap...but then the Russian boss goes on to say that the foot soldier has become a drunk, or a shell of the man he once was.

I think that is where they ended it, without mentioning the foot soldiers' fate.

Damm too bad, that was a funny ass episode though. Paulie was wheezing trying to beat that Russian guy down, he was apparently ex military haha. Russian bear guy!!!
