It was an o.k. episode, nothing blowaway. I liked the fact that Paulie is finally back in the show. We'll see if the assemblyman is going to be so supportive of Tony now that he got a belt-whipping.

LedZeppelin - Whoa, they're gonna be another season? I was under the impression that this was the last season since James Gandolfini wasn't happy portraying such a violent character. If u're correct, that's awesome as this is one of the few shows on TV I watch.

Yes, David Chase is signed to do five seasons. After that, it's all up in the air. Gandolfini has said that if Chase leaves, then he goes too. If I were them, I'd ride the Sopranos wave for as long as possible. Can anyone tell me what any one of them actors/actressess were doing before their Sopranos success? Bracco was in Goodfells, but some of the others had small character parts in movies, but nothing as big as this show. Gandolfini was in "The Mexican". Look how well that did in the box office. If he was smart, he'd shut up about his new-found morals and stick to playing the type of character he plays best, which is Tony Soprano.
Actually, Gandolfini has been in a BUNCH of movies, a good one being Crimson Tide (smallish role but great flick)
Carmella was in a few things, like OZ on HBO and a bunch of broadway stuff. But the others, they should take their Sopranos money and invest it wisely. Not like Chris is going to get many more Spider roles 9from Goodfellas)

This season so far is midly boring, every season it starts out slow and the last two episodes are good. The fact that tony ass whipped the assemblyman after he asked if it was ok to boink her, shows tony's has serious mental problems. This was discusssed many times in the shrinks office where he blows up and acts like he is going to hit her, maybe its the prozac he is on. Tony Soprano, the tv character, is a mean spirited, evil person who you can't trust or belive anything he says as true. He says one thing and does another later on.
If the assemblyman had any brains, he cut all ties to the sopranos now. The portray tony and his crew as untouchable, but it would be nice once in a while to see the fbi do more than there doing, they didnt hold back when they went after the real Daffer Don; John Gotti and won. I never seen Tony go before a judge for this crimes, the man does all this evil stuff and nothing happens.
There's 13 (unlucky 13) episodes per season, it ends mid-jan, so the first 2 weeks of 2003 will be the best episodes, i think there is 6 shows left or so.
The show that follows the sopranos, 'curb your enthusiasm' i find more entertaining to watch

He went to Rutgers University in New Brunswick, used to bartend in Manhattan during his struggling years, is doing a movie called Sharkslayer about what else mafia due out in 2004. Recent movies he has done: The Last Castle, The Mexican, A Whole New Day and 8MM.

Dude, he is a mobster, of course he cant be trusted, etc. I live 2mn from where they do a lot of the filming and the actual house they use That Tony lives in is 5mn from me. If you ever met/knew any of those types of guys in real life, you would know that Tony's Character is mild to say the least!
