So I got this on my motherboard RMA and so I messaged and asked if I was getting a new board or the defective one.

I'm getting the defective one because there is physical damage to the board and they revoked my 30 day RMA warranty.

Does that not say defective, no physical damage?

Oh newegg.

This forum is not here for you to complain about Newegg.

You've done this already in two other forums. Please stop.

You like to RMA a lot of stuff.

I do too.

I buy a lot of stuff from newegg and I RMA a lot of it. Unfortunately, not as much as I like because most of the stuff I purchase comes with a rebate which I file. After filing the rebate, you can no longer RMA through newegg because they do not accept RMA unless you have the original box with UPC code.

Newegg is pretty bad, but most other places (e-tailers) are much worse...

I am just kinda disappointed that they give me one report and then turn around and say something else, then I can't receive a new item without going thru the manufacture.

O yeah, anyone will do that. People are simply not well educated and you will hear a different story from every person. Newegg is generally pretty good as far as this issue is concerned, but there are always exceptions.

I have been going back and forth for weeks now trying to transfer my service net extended service plan for the 2 refurb logitech wave sets I bought and RMA'd within the original 90 day warranty period. First they told me it would be transferable, then I was told they are not transferable, now it has been escalated for weeks because they are asking me for a serial number which is nowhere to be found on either one of the two sets!
