Just send the Jihadist, bombstrapping durka durkas!
We acclaim Jihad on Asteroid!........ And away they go, strapping themselves to rockets, etc!

It is kind of scarey though. If we get hit by one of the big one's, bye bye. Total Annihilation!

These asteroids are at least one reason why we need to keep our nukes. And in case I forget to tell you later, it was nice knowing you all.

I've seen many documentaries on the History, Science and Discovery channels on Asteroids, but don't remember the answer to this......

What size of Asteroid are they saying it will take to totally wipe all of earth's population?

An asteroid 1/2 mile wide would cause a lot of damage. Supposedly an asteroid 5 miles wide would end life on earth as we know it. That may depend in part on where it hits. Hit in the deep part of an ocean and tidal waves destroy everything in their paths even several hundred miles inland, but you wouldn't have the enormous dust cloud enveloping the planet that would actually keep light from getting to the surface. This one is not that big but could still cause quite a bit of damage if it hits. It's supposed to miss by about 330,000 miles on the 29th. Makes you wonder haw accurate the projections are and if there's something we're not being told.

unless you have your tinfoil hat on properly, in which case you do NOT wonder what we're not being told, you just watch the Chuck sandwich tonight on NBC and don't worry about so called "asteroids" (wasn't that a video game back in the 80's?)

listen, if an astroid does head toward the earth, there will be a rag-tag team of random people who will go up and nuke, since we know that no matter what the disaster, nuking it ALWAYS helps!

The sun fails? Nuke it....
The core stops moving? Nuke it...
Astroid comes to end life? Nuke it....
Aliens attack? Nuke Them!

I'm sure i am forgetting some...

You forgot the whales.

Yeah... they needed to use time travel to get those freakin' whales!
