Sooo.. this i386 in my c:\.. can I delete it?

Hey guys,

I might be mistaken, but isn't this where manufacturers store a backup of windows?

I need to clear up some space and I have a cd version of windows.. so I was wondering if I could get rid of it.

you can delete it, as long a you have an actual windows xp disk and not some restore-image crap. Once it's gone, you may be asked for the CD when adding/removing windows components.

Just get a bigger hard drive. They're cheap.
