On a whim I registered for it and got my place held for me. It's an 8hour drive and I think I'll most likely be stuck paying for a room by myself. So, anyone going to QuakeCon and if you've been before was it worth the time and effort?
 
Myself and a couple buddies are going, we're driving from Chicago, so it's kind of a haul. I haven't been myself but my friends have and they say it's totally worth the cost/etc. This should get stickied somewhere, as there are two threads already. Best to keep something like this in one spot.
