Soo many games coming out...

As you may/may not know, I just got a 360, and have been playing halo 3 online, which is silly fun, and GTA4, and a bunch of other olderish 360 games.

I know fable 2, gow2, silent hill, and fallout 3 are comming out within the next 2 months...I currently have fallout 3, and silent hill pre-ordered....oh and WoTLK....which will consume some time.

I was thinking of swapping the SH pre-order to gow2...I want to purchase a game that has a lot o replayability, and I do not know if SH will be online, I heard GoW2 will be...fallout 3 is a must purchase IMO...so the only tossup is the other 3.

I think Fable 2 will be one of the few that I buy... probably also the upcoming DDRU3.

Thinking about picking up Left 4 Dead if I can convince a few friends to get it as well.

It's a series? I thought it was just some Half-Life spinoff valve cooked up...

I am interested in Fable 2 as well. Is Fable in the lines of say an Oblivion, or more like a Zelda? I am not a huge fan of RPGs, but I have enjoyed all of the Zelda titles. Don't know if that made any sense, but I am intrigued about Fable. Not sure if I can handle a 40+ hour game nowadays.

No it's not a series, this is the 1st one. Not sure what you heard or are confusing with it Vivi?

Left 4 Dead isn't a series (yet). It was developed by Turtle Rock Studios which was bought by Valve. It's not related to HL except for they're both built on the source engine.

I played it at PAX this year and it's definitely going to be an awesome game. I'm not sure I'd get it for the 360 though. Valve isn't supporting the 360 version of TF2 half as well as the PC version.

NO idea, i know nothing of L4D....I thought I had seen it on a previous system..soo that is what I know about L4D. I will look more into it though, if it is a HL2 spinoff, it's gotta be pretty good.

I don't think that Fable 2 is really like either Zelda or Oblivion to be honest. It's probably closer to Oblivion than Zelda, but it's quite a lot different... and it will have multiplayer which looks really cool. You can invite somebody into your world via xbox live... you have to set upon inviting them how much of the shared exerience and how much of the shared gold will go to you and how much to them so you can split that all up however you want when you invite them. Supposedly every players home world will be unique and different from other players worlds. I'm really excited about this game.

I've never even considered buying Fable, but maybe I will pick up Fable 2. It looks pretty interesting.

L4D and Saints Row II are the only 2 I will be getting. The video of fallout 3 made it look stupid, so I crossed that one off my list.

I'll be picking up Fable 2 and Fallout 3. Rock Band 2 almost certainly, possibly Guitar Hero WT. Lips and KR American Idol 2 are coming soon also. Going to be a ton of music games this year. If I find a deal on Saints Row 2, maybe pick that up as well. EndWar and World at War will be out this year too. Gears of War 2 is coming, but honestly the first just didn't do much for me. Mirror's Edge looks like a rental.

It's going to be a busy winter for gaming. I hate Minnesota winter's anyway, so hunkering down with a stack of fresh games is my plan.

replace the word 'multiplayer' with 'coop' (at least according to the previews I have read)
