Soo, corsair or NZXT

Both 850w, both FULLY modular, that means everything.
Corsair AX850 professional series gold fully modular
NZXT white hale 90 850w gold fully modular.
Now im just comparing these, anyone know which is better?
On a side note, one of these are going with the NZXT white case, so the hale 90 white would be a nice blend in with it, the corsair still looks nice with it too, the black on white. I dont care honestly, just that ones white one is black.

Both are excellent. It's not really a matter of "which one" but "am I willing to pay this much for a PSU". I'd probably consider something cheaper, e.g. XFX 850 XXX or Corsair HX850. Gold efficiency isn't that important. Antec HCP-850 is a good choice too, usually cheaper than AX850.

I have the 750 Watt version of the Hale 90 and it's a champ. Between those two you can't really go wrong just pick the cheaper one I guess.

oh yeah I was going to mention, I understand its a overkill, but im getting it because of capacitor aging etc. I really dont plan on buying a new one anytime soon at all. also because I WILL be making upgrades on this system, still with the same psu.
specs are as followed.
i5 2500k 4.5 GHz
Deciding between intel DP67BG and Asrock Fatal1ty p67 professional
Asus GTX 560 SLi'd
WD caviar blue 500gb
Just some plain asus DVD drive, nothing special
and the PSU, 850w.
just a addon to this, my case has atleast 7 fans, 6 of them LED and 2 of them high performance 200mm's
if that would draw anymore power, another accesory I have is that my case comes with a built in fan controller.

I would honestly go with the Corsair then since you want longevity. XFX might be cheap but if you ever needed to use their warranty, the service blows big time.

Because my brother and I have had several XFX video cards. A few had problems and we tried to get RMA service.

I've only owned one XFX video care..GT7900 about 5-6 years ago. My experience with RMA'ing the card was just the opposite. (the card still worked, there was a manufacturing issue where a piece of plastic film was left on the inside of the fan housing, it rubbed the fan and made a ton of noise)

Have you also had Corsair products that you had to RMA? Also, one person's RMA experience doesn't really say much about the service as a whole, need a bit more data than that to compare two companies based on user experiences

I had to RMA some RAM this year. Corsair was also top notch through out the entire process. IMO, the only way it could have been better, is if they'd have dispatched a tech to come take the modules out of my PC and install the new ones for me. :whiste:

Yes, multiple instances. Always had amazing and swift service. While one person's RMA might not be indicative, we are each giving our OPINION. And in my OPINION, XFX service sucks horribly. The OP is free to take that with a grain of salt.
