so, im sitting here at work and just remembered i need to cancel an order from sony. I call up their 800# and get put hold. i stuck the phone on speaker and went back to work. 20min later and i'm still on hold, my co-workers started an improptu pool on how long it would take for a rep to pick up. We tracked it by the call timer on my phone.

i won the pool. It took 1 hr and 4min, i guessed 1 hr and 2min.

yay sony!

PS. They told me they needed to escalate the cancellation even though the item is backordered and will confirm in 24 hrs. That's just sad.
