Sony XBR TV issue

I have had my HD Sony XBR 34" TV for around 6 1/2 years now. One of those big monster 220lb HD Tube TVs. I have never had any trouble with it until now. The past week when I turn on the TV after it has been off for several hours it will sound like it starts to turn on and then I will hear a pop through the speakers and the TV turns off. Then if I immediatelly turn on the TV a second time it turns on fine. The picture looks great and the TV seems to work fine. Any ideas? - Thanks
