Try and be prepaired to return though. I have never owned a pair of wireless headphones that didnt suck. High and low price all had sound issues. Definately google search a review before you purchase and make sure you purchase from a place that allows easy returns.

i can get the MDR-DS3000 for 149US b/c my dad can get it through a distributor
it has a decoder, so does that mean my sb audigy 2 zs wont do any work?
will it just output raw SPDIF signal and have the sony decoder do all the work?
in that case, can i just use onboard sound from my asus P4C800-E Deluxe to the same effect, if it is just outputting raw signal?

LtPage1 nope have not tried those ( I have owned about half a dozen pairs) over the past 15 and all the recent ones I either returned or sold on ebay. All the old ones were given away. They just never lived up the the hype and dont sound as good as wired. My original advice stands. Try to read a lot of reviews before purchase not just positive ones.

I have the RS85s, and find them to be acceptable, but by no means perfect. I definitely expected better for the amount of money I spent.
