Sony VGN-FS550 drive replaceable?

My girlfriend has a Sony VGN-FS550 (which I am 100% against in her getting). After about a year, her dvd drive died. I haven't been able to fiddle around with it yet so I'm not too familiar with the layout.

I was wondering if anyone knows if the dvd drive in this notebook is replaceable, with a standard slim drive, or did sony make the drive different so that you HAVE to buy from them?
