Sony Vegas 6.0 help.

I transferred some MiniDV footage to my pc using Vegas 6.0. The quality doesn't look all that great so I was wondering if there is a setting inside Vegas to change the quality?
Not change the quality on the camera itself, just the quality as it copies it. I know on WIndows Movie maker it lets you specify the quality of the output file. Can't findd that anywhere in Vegas though.
