whats the differences? other than price

Pro gives you BD capabilities and much more complex sound editing options
Non-platinum does not contain 5.1 capabilities

I have no personal experience though I will probably be buying one of these before the year is out. I have Vegas 4 and love it but haven't had the reason to upgrade until I upgraded my machine.
