this particular model was non-existant in the market.

looks like a TD exclusive

This particular Sony UMPC is kinda cool, and it's the best price I've seen on it, but be warned that it's THICK. It must be a full 2" deep, and that's a lot of girth for a Ultra Mobile PC.

wow, slick, but it doesn't have enough ram @ 512 :( And apparently it's soldered onto the mobo!

this is an older model, not even on sony's site. the newer one have 1gb and 40 gb hd.

Could the hard-drive be upgraded?

512 megs is enough for me with XP. Mainly wondering if I could put in a 32-meg flash-drive once they become available. I'm guessing this is 1.8" 4200 RPM micro-drive.

I cannot find high quality reviews of these products. Lots of dinky reviews but nothing really detailed like you find here at Anandtech.

I'm guessing they are dumping them due to people wanting Vista. Me I don't care about Vista so this would be nice.
